Saveur Magazine surveyed Washington pols and media types to see what they eat for breakfast. I had fun reading it, but I'm also a politics/news dork.
McCain, according to the article, eats "Coffee, cereal, and fruit." Obama of the multiple workouts eats "Four to six eggs, potatoes, and wheat toast. Every now and then, fruit, bacon, and oatmeal."
Coffee only for Maureen Dowd. Chocolate ice cream for Nancy Pelosi. Yeah, I don't get it either.
For the record, I usually guzzle coffee and eat whatever my kids leave on their plates, generally waffle and banana remnants. I also stop for more coffee and an out-of-town paper or two on my way to work. (I get The Gazette at home, as should you.)
