My very sweet and thoughtful wife and daughters got me a Flip video camera for Father's Day. I've been playing around with it ever since. It's a great gadget.
It can be a useful tool. For instance, I used it to shoot the Branstad video I posted last week.
It's also handy for less-useful moments. While sitting on my patio, drinking beer and listening to my iPod Friday night, I recorded some lightning flashes to the northwest of my north Marion abode. This is one flashy bolt, stretched out over 12 seconds.
