Christmas Truce Open Thread

I know things can get a little tense and fiery here in Commentistan. So before I take leave for the joyous Christmas holiday, I figured I would call an official online truce.
If the Germans and Brits could do it in World War I, surely it's possible now. Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Tea Party members, Occupiers, Libertarians, Trotskyites, Whigs, Tories, Anarchists, lay down your rhetorical weapons, for a few days.
Sit back, take a long, deep breath, grab a nog and gather around the crackling fire below. If you'd like, share your favorite holiday memories, stories, jokes, videos, whatever feels festive.
