At the Last Debate

Oct. 21, 2010 11:04 am
Just arrived at Iowa Public Television for the last gubernatorial debate between Gov. Chet Culver and Terry Branstad. Supporters of both candidates are making a lot of noise outside for their guy. The Branstad backers are beating on orange buckets and blowing what sounded like vuvuzelas.
There's a real World Cup atmosphere. OK, not really. But there is food for the press. Bonus.
I'll be live-blogging the debate here at 11:45. And if you want to watch the debate while you're following my blog, just open a second browser window and go to the IPTV site, which will be live-streaming it.
The forum, sponsored by The Des Moines Register, will be broadcast on IPTV tonight at 8 p.m.
