DES MOINES -- Cole Turner's first and last season as a wrestler ended on a high note.The Cedar Rapids Xavier heavyweight took down Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln's Jordan Bywater in the final seconds of a tie-break period to win third place in the 3A 285-pound tournament. The match went into overtime tied 2-2, and after neither heavyweight could score in the first overtime period, they went to the mat.
Turner couldn't escape in the first 30-second tiebreak period. When Bywater broke free from the bottom in the next period, that meant Turner needed a takedown to win. He quickly shot in on Bywater's right leg and drove him to the ground for the win.
