Wnek commits to UNI for softball

Caitlin Wnek, a junior shortstop at Clear Creek Amana, has orally committed to the Northern Iowa softball program.Wnek a first-team all-stater and all-state tournament team member as a sophomore. As a freshman, she earned second-team all-state honors.She batted .557 with 35 extra-base hits and 91 RBIs in leading the Clippers to the state semifinals in Class 3A.
