Wildcats sweep 3 duals

DELHI - The Maquoketa Valley Wildcats hosted Ed-Co, Postville and Clayton Ridge in wrestling duals on Tuesday, winning all three.

Maquoketa Valley beat the Ed-Co Vikings first, 66-12, getting wins from Mason Hermanson (pin), Zach Cornell (forfeit), Cole Kruse (forfeit), Dylan Wright (forfeit), Trevor Koopmann (pin), Alec McDowell (pin), Steve Huber (forfeit), Ryan Parmely (forfeit), Kaleb Kruse (forfeit), Justin Krapfl (forfeit) and Tanner Parmely (forfeit).

The Wildcats then downed Postville, 72-9. Winners against the Pirates were Kruse (pin), Wright (pin), Koopmann (pin), McDowell (forfeit), Huber (pin), Eric Heims (pin), Parmely (forfeit), Kruse (pin), Krapfl (forfeit), Greg Guetzko (pin), Tanner Parmely (pin) and Hermanson (pin).

The Wildcats finished off the night by beating Clayton Ridge, 71-12, getting wins from Cornell (technical fall), Wright (pin), Koopmann (pin), McDowell (pin), Huber (pin), Ryan Parmely (pin), Kruse (pin), Guetzko (forfeit), Carson Wright (forfeit), Bryant Meyer-Kemp (forfeit), Tanner Parmely (pin) and Hermanson (pin).
