Wet fields move Linn-Mar sophomore, Jefferson varsity games

The Waterloo East High School sophomore football game against Linn-Mar, scheduled 5 p.m. today., has been moved from Waterloo Memorial Stadium to Sloan Wallace Stadium due to wet field conditions.The varsity football game will still be played at Waterloo Memorial Stadium beginning no earlier than 7:30 p.m., allowing time for workers and fans to make the transition to Waterloo Memorial Stadium. Fans who have paid admission at Sloane Wallace need to keep their tickets for admission into the varsity game at Memorial Stadium.Also, tonight's game between Cedar Rapids Jefferson and Dubuque Senior has been moved to Chalmers Field at the University of Dubuque because of wet field conditions.
