West to host Coaches vs. Cancer event

Iowa City West will host its annual Coaches vs. Cancer girls' basketball game against Cedar Rapids Prairie on Friday.In addition to the basketball games, the coaches will be sponsoring a raffle that will include gift cards donated by local businesses as well as parents of basketball players, a Beauty Basket, Everything Basketball, Movie Night Basket, Kids Basket, Nail Care and Spa Basket and an autographed West High basketball.Proceeds from the raffle as well as a bake sale held earlier in the week will benefit the American Cancer Society – Hope Lodge in Iowa City.
