West Delaware preps dot all-star rosters

Four West Delaware wrestlers will compete in the 35th Annual North/South All-Star wrestling meet Saturday at Charles City High School. The dual is slated for 6 p.m.. following Greco-Roman and freestyle tournaments held earlier in the day for all junior, cadet and kid division wrestlers.The event is hosted by the Charles City Mat Club in conjunction with the Iowa National Guard. Tickets are $8 and available at the door.Hawks state champions Adam Reth and Dean Broghammer and teammates Jacyn Goebel and Zach Muller will compete, while West Delaware two-time state finalist Zach Less was listed at 113 but will not wrestle.Broghammer will face Marshalltown's 3A heavyweight state champion Pedro Gomez. Goebel faces Clarksville's 1A state champion Dalton Ciavarelli at 182. Muller, a 2A state runner-up, will wrestle Nashua-Plainfield's Cody Marks at 145. Reth's opponent has not been determined yet.South Tama's 2012 state champion Erik Lux opens with Southeast Polk's state champion Dylan Blackford at 170.
