Linn-Mar scored on its four four possessions and routed Clinton, 49-7, last night in a high school football game at Clinton.
Perrion Scott rushed for 147 yards — all in the first half — and scored four touchdowns as the Lions improved to 3-0.
'We're 3-0 and we're glad to get there, and this is a week where we got better,' Lions Coach Bob Forsyth said.

DUBUQUE SENIOR 34, C.R. PRAIRIE 28 — Prairie nearly pulled of a spectacular comeback in Dubuque.
Down 34-7 at the start of the final quarter at Dalzell Field, the Hawks (1-2) scored 21 unanswered points and came within a Hail Mary pass of topping the undefeated Rams (3-0).
After struggling most of the game, Trey Beckman caught fire to throw three touchdown passes in the games final seven minutes — 15-yards to Jalen Rima, 14-yards to Coen Brown and 23 yards to Rima again.
Beckman finished with 308 yards, 146 of which went to Jojuan Simpson, who didn't find the end zone, but stretched the field all night.

NORTH SCOTT 24, C.R. KENNEDY 6 — Matt Sacia admitted he was sort of skeptical about this whole district football business.
The North Scott quarterback kind of liked playing against just the Mississippi Athletic Conference schools. The idea of playing schools from Cedar Rapids and Dubuque and other places during the regular season just didn't sound like much fun.
But after his first experience against a non-MAC opponent last night, he thinks this might grow on him.
Sacia rolled up 273 yards of total offense and the North Scott defense did lots of bending but very little breaking as the Lancers rolled to a victory Lancer Stadium.
'It's a lot of fun because you get to see how your team can match up with teams from all across the state that you've never really played before,'' Sacia said.
The senior QB finished with 112 yards rushing in 17 carries and also completed 10 of 17 passes for 161 yards.

ANAMOSA 31, TIPTON 15 — A pair of Kolin Schulte touchdown passes at the end of the second quarter propelled the Raiders to their second win in a row.
Schulte, who finished 7 of 10 for 72 yards, hit Tyler Zumbach from 11 yards out. Then, after a Tipton turnover, found Daniel Husmann for an 18-yard touchdown less than a minute later.
The TDs help Anamosa (2-1) to a 17-7 halftime lead.
Schulte also led the Raiders in rushing with 84 yards on 10 carries. Husmann added 69 yards on six rushes.

CENTRAL CITY 58, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 36:
Scheduling was not kind to Central City. The Wildcats faced two highly ranked eight-man opponents the first two weeks and had yet to score.
That changed last night.
Central City (1-2) dominated the second half of what had been a back-and-forth battle to rout Cedar Valley Christian (1-2), 58-36 at Cornell College.
CASCADE — Football is a game of inches. It's also a game of shoelaces.
Derek Lieurance and Class 2A, No. 10 Cascade proved that in a 44-16 victory last night over Marion.
'Derek frustrates me a little bit sometimes because he takes a few too many shots,' Cascade Coach Tim Frake said. 'But when he makes a play like that, you just pat him on the back and say good job.'
