Washington's Oglesby picks up Providence offer

It wasn't just Iowa that offered Cedar Rapids Washington basketball swingman at last week's big AAU tournament in Las Vegas.Former Drake Coach Keno Davis also offered the 6-foot-5 Oglesby, according to Washington Coach Brad Metzger. Davis is at Providence now, of course.It's the 13th official scholarship offer for Oglesby. The others are Iowa, Arizona State, Boston College, Illinois, Minnesota, Northwestern, Albany, Butler, Creighton, Indiana State, Northern Iowa and South Dakota State.Oglesby has said he is in no hurry to commit to a school, saying he will likely take official visits first.
