Washington, Iowa holding 'Pink Out' on Saturday

Here's a press release from Washington (Iowa) High School regarding its "Coaches vs. Cancer - Pink Out" promotion Saturday at the school. A good event.

The Washington Athletic Boosters in conjunction with the American Cancer Society and the Washington High School Athletic Department will be sponsoring a “Coaches vs Cancer - Pink Out” event at the Washington High School on Saturday, January 9th, 2010.

The Washington Demon Boys & Girls Basketball Teams will host the Tipton Tigers. Activities will start at 1:30 with the Junior Varsity Girls leading the way. The Junior Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys will follow.

This will be a day filled with basketball, food, games, prizes and PINK that will be fun for all ages. Jenna Waters, Emma Langstraat, Eden Levetzow, Rose Towner, and Zoe Allison have been invited to participate by being our honorary captains for this event.
