Wamac volleyball brackets released

MARION -- The bracket portion of the Wamac Conference volleyball tournament will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at Marion High School.

Here are championship-bracket pairings, in bracket order:

Dyersville Beckman (16-12) vs. Marion, 4 p.m. (Court 1)

Solon (26-1) vs. Western Dubuque (12-18), 5 p.m. (Court 1)

Maquoketa (27-4) vs. Williamsburg (17-13), 4 p.m. (Court 2)

West Delaware (33-5) vs. Waterloo Columbus (19-14), 5 p.m. (Court 2)

Semifinals are slotted for 6:30 p.m., with the championship match expected to start around 7:30.

The other eight teams will play in a consolation bracket, also at Marion.
