Just noticed this.
Oakland Athletics outfielder Ryan Sweeney of Cedar Rapids is on the ballot for this year's MLB All-Star Game. The game is July 13 at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, Calif.
Sweeney was hitting over .300 going into this week and was second on Oakland's team in RBI. Wouldn't it be cool to see one of our own in the All-Star Game.
