VIDEO: Washington’s Carr the definition of 'workhorse'

Cedar Rapids Washington running back Alex Carr is literally carrying the load for the 10th ranked Warriors.Last Friday vs. Linn-Mar Carr carried the football 49 times for 289 yards and 4 TD's.The 49 carries are believed to be the most ever by an Iowa High School player. Number of carries are not an official stat for Iowa.The Iowa High School Athletic Association's Bud Legg says the 49 carries are the most he has ever seen.Carr has 192 carries in 7 games, which is tops in the state. He also ranks 4th in rushing yards, and 4th in TD's.The Warriors lost to Linn-Mar 42-35 in overtime.
