Video Sessions — The mind of a fullback
Marc Morehouse

Video No. 1 - Just when you think fullback is a dead position in football, there's a dude like Adam Cox. He could probably only be a fullback and he loves the opportunity. I talked to him about the possibility of more touches (he's not really for it, he knows his job) and the technique he uses as Mark Weisman's or Jordan Canzeri's
lead blocker. He's coached not to lead with his helmet, BTW.
Video No. 2 - Last week, Iowa DL coach Reese Morgan said Mike Hardy
was a DT who Iowa needed to play DE. Hardy talks about that and what coaches expect out of him, which isn't pass rush as much as it's setting an edge against the run. And it's not that Hardy has totally excused himself from pass rush. It's something Iowa's DL works everyday in practice for 15-plus minutes.
Video No. 3 - I ask junior QB Jake Rudock about being the No. 1. Not the No. 1, but THE NO. 1. Also, he was kind of caught or guard (or perhaps the question was poorly phrased on my part) about the differences between he and C.J. Beathard as
runners. We talked about the 'new” -- they're not new anymore -- wide receivers and what they might mean for Iowa's offense. There's other stuff I'm forgetting.
