Video 1
- OT Andrew Donnal talks about the messages Iowa's leaders need to send after a horrible avalanche like Minnesota. Can you kick a team in the butt? 'The leaders who speak up, people value what they say no matter how they say it.”
Video 2
- DT Carl Davis talks about the team meeting the defense called for itself on Monday. It wasn't a fire-and-brimstone deal. It was more trying to get all three units, D-line, LBs and secondary, on the same page. Iowa's defensive team concept was shredded against Minnesota. 'It was, ‘hey look, we want to correct some things.' This team still has high aspirations.”
Video 3
- DT Louis Trinca-Pasat talks about stopping Illinois' run, which is RB Josh Ferguson. LTP did acknowledge that the defense will see a lot of things that they might not have seen with Illinois coming off a bye.
LTP is getting his master's in educational leadership. Is anything he's learned applicable in this situation?
Video 4 (below)
- Quarterback Jake Rudock always believes it's execution and the offense should be able to execute any of those plays.
The passing game was shut down after the first drive Saturday. There was no one thing, there was a lot of things.
And then I led a question about how much he hated the interception. He said he, of course, hates all his interceptions.
All the players are smarter than me, but this race here ain't close. (All in good fun. This is a good guy trying to do everything he can to help his team win. Don't lose sight of that.)
