Video Sessions Part 2

Video 1 - Indiana was much more one dimensional after QB Nate Sudfeld suffered a separated shoulder and left the game in the first half. He was replaced by freshman Chris Covington, who's more of a zone-option QB. The Hoosiers were fairly one dimensional after that. FS Jordan Lomax said that didn't matter. The defense had to play better fundamental football and didn't do that, for the most part, against RB Tevin Coleman. Lomax said run fits and and leverage were blown. 'He's a good running back, but he had some big runs that we shouldn't have given up.”
Video 2 - WR Tevaun Smith said QBs Jake Rudock and C.J. Beathard played different roles. He said the 72-yarder to WR Damond Powell was an excellent throw on Rudock's part. 'He really gave him [Powell] a chance with that throw.”
Video 3 - Freshman RB Jonathan Parker is in the playbook now. After he scored on a 60-yard jet sweep Saturday, he's really, really in the playbook. 'Coaches have thrown me in there. I'm looking for more and more to come.” Parker had two fumbles against Ball State. He seems OK now. He also praised WR Jacob Hillyer's block. 'Once I saw that, I knew touchdown.”
Video 4 - Before his pick 6, here's what CB Desmond King heard from DC/secondary coach Phil Parker from the sideline: 'He said read the quarterback's three-step [drop], watch the No. 1 receiver sit down and you can jump in and go.”
Let's break that down, yes, yes and yes. King returned his first career interception 35 yards for a 14-0 Iowa lead in the first quarter.
