Video Sessions Part 1

Video 1 - Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz isn't going any farther than 'we have two good quarterbacks” on the quarterbacks question. That's his job. There's no reason to take it any farther than that. Why keep asking? Why not. What else do you want to know about this team as it goes into a bye week? Anyway, one question I did ask, off camera, was the perception that he bristles over playing younger players. His answer was he doesn't care about perception. That pretty much says it all.

Video 2 - No, offensive tackle Brandon Scherff isn't aware when he makes a viral video. He might've made another one on Saturday. He hits defensive backs, too. That seems unfair, but you have a helmet on, you better be ready to rumble.

Video 3 - Get to know freshman RB Jonathan Parker. He had an excellent catch-and-run for 34-yards off a tipped pass in the second quarter.

Video 4 - QB C.J. Beathard believes Iowa's best football is ahead of it. It hasn't happened, and he said that's a good thing. Here's a good two minutes with him. Kid is totally at ease. I don't think he sweats. He credits the defense for its stops, too.
