Video Sessions Part 1

Video 1 - Iowa TE Jake Duzey is always smiling pretty wide when he does interviews. It helps when you score TDs, which he did to start Iowa's scoring Saturday, catching a 12-yard pass from QB Jake Rudock. That set off an avalanche of scores for the Hawkeyes, who ripped off 28 points in a span of 3:38 in the first quarter. That included CB Desmond King's 35-yard pick six.
Video 2 - C Tommy Gaul is a new face. He stepped in when junior guard Jordan Walsh suffered what looked to be an ankle injury in the first quarter. BTW, coach Kirk Ferentz said it was an ankle injury and that he should know more about his status on Tuesday. Gaul said he was nervous, but the fifth-year senior held up well in his first significant minutes. OT Brandon Scherff called him ‘The Technician.'
Video 3 - LB Quinton Alston was not happy with the play of the defense. He expects film study to be excrutiating. He said the culprit was missed run fits. That probably covers more than a few guys, because, you know, you saw Tevin Coleman.
Video 4 - WR Kevonte Martin-Manley said Ferentz has confidence in Iowa's short yardage, that's why they went for it on fourth down at the end of the first half. 'We like it, it gives us confidence.”
