Video: Schebler hits first major league home run
Former Cedar Rapids Prairie prep Scott Schebler hit his first career MLB home run Friday night, taking the Padres' James Shields deep to right field in the second inning at Petco Park in San Diego.
He was 2-for-5 in Los Angeles' 8-4 win Friday and is now 3-for-9 this season.
Schebler was called up for the second time earlier this week after MLB rosters expanded to as many as 40 players.
