IOWA CITY - The moments after Iowa City Regina's latest victory might have been more special than the game the Regals had just played.Regina honored a couple younger fans with game balls after a 41-14 win over West Branch. One of the youth men was named Jordan and was wheeled to the team's huddle by one of the Regals. Soon after he joined the group on the field, Regina Coach Marv Cook received another game ball and handed it to seniors Elliot Halsch and Adam Demory, who presented it to Jordan.Members of Catholics in Action, consisting of 15 Regina students including three football players, worked on a three-day project that benefitted Jordan's family. They built a ramp at their house. The Regals junior running back and linebacker, Michael Adam, invited Jordan to attend the game. He watched the game from the sideline, and was presented with a No. 35 Regina jersey (Adam's number) before the game, meeting Regina assistant coach and former University of Iowa wide receiver Ed Hinkel.Jordan left a lasting impression on many of the Regals."He has a great, engaging personality," Cook said. "The kids took a liking to him."
