The Linn-Mar Lions finished 8-1 last year in the regular season and won the Valley division conference title. Linn-Mar returns one of the top running backs in the state in Jer Garman. The 5'9 senior rushed for 1,861 yards and scored 29 touchdowns last year.Junior Mark Atwater will replace Will Roth at quarterback this season. Atwarter will also play outside linebacker. Atwater has plenty of big targets to throw the ball to like 6'6 Josh Montague, and 6'5 Ian McBrayer, along with the speedy Aaron Hunter.Senior Mac Mahmens will go both ways up front. The 6'2 280 pound lineman has the size, and experience to be a real difference maker.
