UNI's Farley honored to be in 'first-class' event

University of Northern Iowa football coach Mark Farley, just hours after learning his team had been picked to win the Missouri Valley Football Conference title and minutes before teeing off in the Zach Johnson Foundation Classic, took time to talk to the media via a teleconference this morning.
While talking about the excitement of a new season with big expectations, he also was talked about today's event at Elmcrest Country Club. A shotgun start began at 10:30 a.m. with celebrities from the PGA, LPGA and Nationwide tours, plus former UNI and NFL star Kurt Warner.
"I just think it's an honor to represent our school it this event," he said while watching others warm up on the practice green. "I'm humbled just sitting here."
