UNI sophomore Robert Knar will transfer

CEDAR FALLS - Northern Iowa sophomore guard Robert Knar is transferring, head coach Ben Jacobson announced Thursday.
Knar, of Mundelein, Ill., played in 12 games this past season and 24 in his craeer as a Panther. His career high was six points in a November win over North Dakota.
'We appreciate all of Rob's hard work and dedication to Panther basketball,” Jacobson said in a statement. 'He is transferring to put himself in position to expand his playing role. Rob leaves our program in great standing and we wish him the very best.”
