(RESULTS)DES MOINES -- Olivia Loy's self-expectations were fairly modest upon her arrival at Drake Stadium."I just expected to do my best," said the junior from Anamosa High School. "I never expected this."Loy introduced herself to state-track stardom this weekend, claiming three girls championships in Class 3A. Saturday, the anchored the Raiders from behind in the sprint medley relay and won the 200-meter dash. Before Friday, Anamosa hadn't experienced a girls state track title in about two decades. And before Saturday, it hadn't posted a relay title at all.Loy rectified all of that.Kamry McLaughlin, Mikayla Whitman, Nicole Sanborn and Loy ran the sprint medley in 1:48.71. Loy got the baton in seventh, then was in fourth by the time she reached the break line, with 300 meters to go.She anchored in 55.6 seconds to win going away."I was feeling it," she said. "I had to look back when I got the baton; I started a little too soon."I exploded to make up ground, and I just kept going."Loy won the 200 in 25.60 seconds.Davenport Assumption claimed its first title in girls' track, scoring 83 points. Solon was the runner-up with 63.Solon's Lauren Benzing concluded a standout career, winning the 800 meters in 2:17.76 and finishing second in the 1,500."There was a lot of jostling (in the 800), and I had to run outside a little more than I'd have liked," said Benzing, who will run next year at Iowa State. "Sometimes you have to make a little sacrifice that will help you at the end."Being a senior and having a lot of experience under my belt, I kind of knew what to expect."
