The Gazette/Iowa Prep Sports boys' basketball poll

This is the last week of the regular season for Class 1A and 2A teams, and there's a bit of a shakeup in those classes in this week's Gazette/Iowa Prep Sports boys' basketball poll.It's the same six teams in order in 1A, led by Newell-Fonda. The Mustangs (18-0) are one of four undefeated teams in the class, joined by LeMars Gehlen (18-0), Lamoni (19-0) and Ar-We-Va (19-0).Pekin and Meskwaki Settlement School dropped out of the 1A rankings this week, replaced by Gladbrook-Reinbeck (18-2) and Easton Valley (15-2) at eighth and 10th, respectively. Keota (18-1) moves up from seventh to sixth.In 2A, Western Christian (19-0) and New Hampton (18-0) remain strong top twos. Iowa City Regina (18-3) dropped out after losses to Cascade and West Branch last week.Cascade (17-2) is up a spot to No. 6.It's the same 10 teams ranked in Class 4A, with only a very minor tweek with sixth-ranked Des Moines North and No. 7 Southeast Polk flipping spots from a week ago. The 3A poll is exactly the same as last week, with Clear Lake (17-0) first and Dubuque Wahlert (14-3) seconds.That's with Wahlert losing a game, albeit in overtime to 4A No. 1 Dubuque Senior. The Golden Eagles have lost twice to Senior and once to North Scott, ranked fourth in 4A.Here are the entire rankings, with last week's ranking in parentheses:
