JORDAN BOHANNON (Linn-Mar) — The 6-foot junior guard averaged 17.8 points per game, had 97 assists and 77 3-pointers. Has college offers from Northern Iowa and Drake but is waiting to cement his plans, in hopes of drawing attention from bigger programs.

DREW COOK (Iowa City Regina) — The 6-foot-5 senior helped the Regals to a second-place finish in Class 2A at the state tournament, averaging 22.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Also had 52 blocked shots. Has signed to play football at University of Iowa.

DAVID DILEO (Iowa City West) — Trojans were highly balanced team, but DiLeo may have been their best player. Averaged 15.7 PPG. Still looking at college hoops options and prep school for a year might be possibility, too.

ROBERT DUAX (Dubuque Hempstead) — The 6-foot-4 senior was the Mississippi Valley Conference's Mississippi Division player of the year. Averaged 19.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Also had 80 assists and 74 steals.

SPENCER HALDEMAN (Western Dubuque) — The 6-foot-2 senior guard has signed with Northern Iowa, which seems a perfect fit for his heady playing style. Averaged 24.3 points, had 110 assists and shot 80 percent from the free-throw line.

ADAM MCDERMOTT (Cedar Rapids Xavier) — University of North Dakota may have gotten a bargain with the 6-foot-3 shooting guard. Averaged 17.9 points and 6.2 rebounds for a Xavier team that finished fourth in 3A. Also shot 46.3 percent from 3-point range.

LUKE MCDONNELL (Dubuque Senior) — Some say the ultra-skinny 6-foot-10 senior center is a Seth Tuttle clone. Averaged 21 points, 12.1 rebounds and 5.3 blocks for the Rams. Was the MVC's Valley Division player of year. Has signed with UNI.

CORDELL PEMSL (Dubuque Wahlert) — Helped Eagles to second straight 3A state championship. The 6-foot-8 junior and Iowa Hawkeyes commit averaged 17.3 points and 8.9 rebounds. Shot 58.9 percent from the field. Missed seven games resting knee that required arthroscopic surgery last fall.

JAKE VELKY (Waverly-Shell Rock) — The 6-foot-1 senior guard is a multi-sport star for the Go-Hawks. Averaged 18.4 points and 5.3 rebounds this season, shooting 83.6 percent from the free-throw line. First-team all-state in Class 3A by the Iowa Newspaper Association.
ETHAN STEINBRONN (West Central) — Not often do you get a skilled 6-foot-10 kid who isn't going Division I, but the senior center decided to stay near home and will attend D-II Upper Iowa. School's all-time leading scorer averaged 22.3 points, 13.2 rebounds and 4.8 blocks this season.
