State tickets on sale at Kennedy

CEDAR RAPIDS -- Tickets go on sale Friday at Kennedy High School for the Cougars' Class 5A state-quarterfinal game against Iowa City High at the girls' state basketball tournament next Wednesday at Wells Fargo Arena.Tickets can be purchased at the activities office from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Monday and Tuesday, and 7:45-10 a.m. Wednesday.Admission is $8. Kennedy also is offering a charter pep bus, with seats for $12.The Kennedy-City High game is at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
