Iowa assistant wrestling coach Doug Schwab says he'll be the next head coach at Northern Iowa.
Schwab says he's accepted the offer to replace Brad Penrith, who was fired last month after 10 seasons in Cedar Falls.
The Panthers are set to introduce Schwab at a news conference Thursday.
The 32-year-old Schwab was a three-time All-American at Iowa. He helped lead the Hawkeyes to three straight national titles as a member of coach Tom Brands' staff.
Northern Iowa finished 40th at the NCAA title meet in March.
