Schedule altered for Iowa Speedway weekend

NEWTON - Rain washed out practice for the NASCAR Nationwide Series U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway Friday, creating a busy Saturday for Nationwide drivers.
Practice has been changed to 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Drivers will then qualify, starting at 3:05 p.m. with the race at 6:30 p.m.
The USARacing Pro Cup Series Blue Ox 150 scheduled to start at 8 p.m. had not started at 9:40. If the event is officially postponed it would begin at noon Saturday. Cedar Rapids driver Joey Gase is expected to compete in the event for Benny Gordon Racing.
