Sash pleads not guilty

Former Hawkeye and NFL safety Tyler Sash pleaded not guilty to charges of public intoxication and interference with official acts today, according to The Des Moines Register
.
Sash fled from Oskaloosa police on a scooter early Saturday morning. According to a police report, officers shocked him with a stun gun and arrested him after he refused to come out from behind a tree. Sash admitted to having six drinks but would not take a sobriety test. He was taken to the Mahaska County jail and has been released, according to the Register.
The twenty-five year old played three seasons at Iowa before leaving for the NFL. He was released by the New York Giants last August.
