Regis state hoops champs to be honored Friday night

Friday night, Cedar Rapids Xavier will recognize Cedar Rapids Regis boys' basketball teams that won consecutive state championships in 1982, 1983 and 1984.On the 30-year anniversary of the "three-peat," Xavier has announced players and coaches from those Regis teams will be honored at halftime of Xavier's boys' game against Iowa City West.Xavier and West play a boy-girl double-header that begins at 6 at Ron Thillen Gymnasium.
