Regional bracketology

People ask how I think the girls' basketball regionals will be divvied up Friday.I don't have the maps and the thumbtacks like the folks at the Girls Union. But I do have a few minutes to kill, now that the kids are in bed.So here's a stab in the dark at how all 4A and Eastern Iowa 3A, 2A and 1A regional assignments will look. An asterisk denotes a first-round 4A bye.

CLASS 4A

REGION 1 (final at Denison)Sioux City West at Sioux City East (winner at #2 Sioux City North* in semifinal); Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson at Council Bluffs Abe Lincoln (winner at Lewis Central* in semifinal).
