Chad Underwood scored 29 points and Jarrod Uthoff added 20 points as Cedar Rapids Jefferson extended Cedar Rapids Prairie's conference-game losing streak to 47 with a 74-70 victory last night at Prairie.
Jefferson (10-9, 6-8) trailed by four points at halftime but outscored Prairie 27-13 in the third quarter.
Scott Schebler scored a game-high 34 points and Mat Meyer added 25 points for Prairie (3-16, 0-14). Prairie made a season high 13 3-pointers with Meyer making six and Schebler five.
Prairie last won a Mississippi Valley Conference boys' basketball game late in the 2005-06 season.
IOWA CITY HIGH 91, C.R. XAVIER 66 - Malcolm Moore scored 42 points to lead Iowa City High to a Mississippi Valley Conference win at Cedar Rapids Xavier.
Moore scored 17 field goals and was a perfect 8 of 8 at the foul line. Eric Washpun and A.J. Derby each added 10 points for the Little Hawks (14-5, 10-4 MVC).
Nate Joens scored 19 and Ryan Sanders added 10 for Xavier (6-13, 3-11).
LINN-MAR 62, IOWA CITY WEST 56 - Nate Hutcheson led all players with 19 points in a Mississippi Valley Conference win at home.
Zach Bohannon added 18 and Matt Bohannon 11 for the Lions (18-1, 14-0 MVC), who clinched the outright MVC Valley Division title.
Teague Case scored 17, Tayler Bontrager and Neftali Lopez 10 apiece for the Trojans (8-11, 6-8).
DYERSVILLE BECKMAN 45, VINTON-SHELLSBURG 38 - Blake Olberding led Dyersville Beckman with 14 points and the win at home last night over Vinton-Shellsburg.
Daniel Thole added 10 points for the Blazers.
Grant Wittmer paced Vinton-Shellsburg with 13 points, Korbin Winsor with 10.
CENTRAL CITY 57, CALAMUS-WHEATLAND 49 - Sean Brandhorst scored 14 points and John Rochford added 13 for Central City at home.
Ryan Powers paced Calamus-Wheatland with 20 points.
MARION 62, WESTERN DUBUQUE 48 - Amry Shelby scored a game-high 32 points as Marion beat Western Dubuque at Epworth.
Zach Otting scored 14 points for Western Dubuque and Ethan Wolfe added 12.
MIDLAND 61, LISBON 56 - Kolby Harms scored 24 points for Midland at Lisbon.
Ben Knake paced Lisbon with 13 points.
Wilton 60, IOWA CITY REGINA 47 - Alec Crawford scored 23 points and Drew Freie added 18 points for Wilton at home.
Braden Lehman posted a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double for the Regals (5-16, 5-9 CVC).
MOUNT VERNON 67, CENTER POINT-URBANA 53 - Chris Kerr scored 20 points and Kellyn Nagle added 16 for host Mount Vernon.
Sam Elgin scored 23 points for Center Point-Urbana.
EAST BUCHANAN 63, ALBURNETT 57- Trevor Franck scored a game-high 28 points for East Buchanan (20-1, 15-1) and Jordan Conrad added 12.
Kevin Sadler scored a team-high 17 points for Alburnett (8-12, 7-9).
