Podcast: ‘The Inside Track’ talks Open vs Crate engines with IMCA President Brett Root
Apr. 11, 2016 8:46 pm
The Inside Track Podcast returns this week with co-hosts Jeremiah Davis and Danny Lehmkuhl breaking down all things motorsports in Eastern Iowa — on dirt and asphalt. In this week's podcast, the two debate the merits of an Open engine versus a Crate engine, which are used across IMCA divisions, and if the Crate engine has helped or hurt racing in Iowa.
Inside Track also welcomes on IMCA President Brett Root to talk about how the IMCA racing season has gone so far in 2016, as well as Root's thoughts on the Open vs Crate debate, and what it means for IMCA racing as a whole.
Davis and Lehmkuhl also answer your Twitter questions in the Q&A segment, and about the most interesting person they saw at the races this weekend in 'People Watching.'
