Pills & Drills charity golf event May 16 to benefit Cedar Rapids free clinics

Cedar Rapids, IA, May 4, 2012:
Volunteers at the free medical and dental clinics in Cedar Rapids treat over 2200 patients every month
and the need continues to grow. Some of our nation's 47 million uninsured live right here in East Central Iowa. Volunteers at the free clinics see patients who have no health insurance, those living in poverty, the homeless, the working poor, and those who are unable to buy medications needed for their well-being.
For the 8

year in a row local doctors and dentists will host the Pills & Drills Charity Golf Event at Hunter's Ridge Golf Course in Marion. Funds raised through this outing will help continue the important work of the local free medical and dental clinics.
Everyone is invited to participate. Items or gift certificates can be donated for a prize drawing, you can sponsor a tee, or register a foursome to play in the event which begins at 1:00 p.m. on May 16
