MOUNT VERNON - Coming from behind after an early field goal by Monticello, the Mount Vernon football celebrated homecoming with a 10-3 win over the Panthers last Friday.
Mickey Hines' 75-yard punt return in the fourth quarter and the accompanying two-point conversion turned the game around for the Mustangs, who host Center Point-Urbana this Friday.
