Former Iowa and Iowa State basketball players are turning some friendly gameday trash talk into a charitable wager.
Georges Niang tweeted the proposition to Peter Jok before Thursday's Iowa-Iowa State game. If Iowa wins, Niang said he will $1,000 to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. If Iowa State is victorious, Jok will donate $1,000 to Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines.

The Cyclones were 3-1 in the series during Niang's career, and won all three games when both Niang and Jok were in college. Niang provided an iconic moment in 2014 when he blew a kiss to Iowa fans during a 90-75 win in which he scored 16 points in Iowa City.
Jok got a win in his senior season last year, when he scored 23 points in a 78-64 victory at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
