CEDAR FALLS - Northern Iowa led by 12 points with 6:35 to play, got tied and taken to overtime, and finally prevailed in the extra period to beat George Mason, 71-65, on six Paul Jesperson free throws in the final 26 seconds.
The Panthers are 8-0.
