#oniowapod — Why has Kirk Ferentz built a wall around Desmond King not playing offense?

Land of Ten's Scott Dochterman and I spent probably too long talking about Iowa's victory at Purdue last week. I think that segment was five good minutes. Too long. It's irrelevant.

The Hawkeyes play No. 10 Wisconsin this week. This game will matter in the Big Ten West Division for in perpetuity, unless either of these programs slides into the abyss. I just don't see that happening, so we have a game that is like a first-round NCAA tournament matchup except 'One Shining Moment' will be replaced by whatever the theme was for Sylvester Stallone's 'Over the Top.' (I'm sorry, I'm stuck on that. Oh, and it was Sammy Hagar's 'Winner Takes All.' I'll take your word that it is an awesome tune.)

We get into Wisconsin. Some of the gritty stuff, too. You guys asked tremendous questions. You have the best words. You will get Desmond King some snaps at wide receiver and get KF to pay for it.

It's Iowa and Wisconsin week. I compared it to the Bears and Packers. Hawkeyes and Badgers, tied to the beaks (wait, Badgers don't have beaks) together forever.
