Nico Law to leave Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Safety Nico Law will transfer from the Iowa football program.
Law posted on Facebook Wednesday that his football career is 'going into a new direction at another University.” Head coach Kirk Ferentz confirmed his decision to transfer in a statement released by the team.
'Nico has decided to transfer from the University of Iowa and complete his athletic and academic careers elsewhere,” Ferentz said in the statement.
Law played three seasons for Iowa, appearing in all 13 games last year and recording four tackles. He's a native of Clinton, Md.
He was cited for disorderly conduct after a fight in Iowa City on June 7. He pleaded guilty and was fined $195.
