There are 2 mountain bike races and an Eco-Triathlon happening in the 380 Corridor this weekend.
Saturday Aug. 27th is the Beverly Park Time Trial hosted by LAMBA.
Registration starts at 9AM.
Kids hit the course at 10AM.
Adults hit the course at 10:30ish.
Kids' course has a choice for the parents. Trail 1 (small kids loop) or Trail 2 (Frontside loop). Kids loops are free.
The map for the full loop will be released this week sometime. Only 3 trails were skipped to create the longest loop possible in the park without crossover or 2 way traffic down singletrack. Full loop is $5/person.
We need a few course marshals and volunteers to help tape the course Saturday morning. We also need some racers so spread the word.
Sunday Aug. 28th
The Sugarbottom Scramble is hosted by ICORR and is being held at Sugarbottom Trails.
The 2011 Sugarbottom Scramble race routes have been finalized, with maps for each of the three routes now available. Please arrive early to register. Registration will be at the picnic shelter. There will be some parking available at the picnic shelter area, after 9am the gates will close until after the race is completed.
There will be three separate courses:
Kids/Youth Ride (9 and under)
Kids/Youth Ride (10-14 yr olds)
Full Race Route (everyone else)
