Monday's Class 3A-4A prep baseball postseason scoreboard

Both Class 4A substate semifinal games in the Metro were rained out Monday night.Cedar Rapids Kennedy at Linn-Mar will begin their game at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at Linn-Mar. The winner will play at Iowa City West on Wednesday night at 7 for a berth to the state tournament.Marshalltown will take a 3-2 lead at Cedar Rapids Prairie in the bottom of the third inning of their game when it is resumed at 7 p.m. Tuesday night. The Bobcats scored a run in the top of the second inning and two in the third on Prairie starting pitcher Mitchell Adams.The Hawks got a Blake Stallman RBI double in the bottom of the second and an RBI grounder from Brennan Hammer in which he reached on a fielding error on the first baseman. Prairie will have two outs, none on and cleanup hitter Tyler Butz at bat when play is resumed.The winner of that game plays Wednesday night at Cedar Rapids Xavier in a 4A substate final.Here is your complete Monday scoreboard:
