CEDAR RAPIDS -- A pair of all-state baseball players from the Metro have cemented their college plans.
Cedar Rapids Kennedy senior third baseman Devon Jacobus has decided to attend Grand View University in Des Moines, according to a post on his Facebook page. Jacobus will be a four-year varsity player and three-year starter at third base for the Cougars.
He hit .377 last season, with 10 home runs and 37 RBIs. Grand View is an NAIA school.

Carlson's older brother, Dustin, is a freshman at Southeastern.
