Linn County sponsors Eco-Fest Healthy Counties, Healthy Families 5K April 21

As part of National County Government Month in April, Linn County is sponsoring the Eco-Fest Healthy Counties, Healthy Families 5K run/walk on Saturday, April 21 at 6 p.m. The course is a 5k (3.1 mile) out and back along the Cedar River Trail.
Participants can pre-register online at http://ecofestcr.wordpress.com/5k-race. Early registration is $20 per person through April 7 or $50 for a family of three or more. From April 8 through race day, registration is $25 per person or $60 for a family.
Registration and packet pick-up the day of the race begins at 5 p.m. in the Bottleworks parking lot on 3rd St. SE in Cedar Rapids. Race packets include a t-shirt and reusable drawstring bag. There is a prize for the top finishers in the male and female categories.
