LONDON -- Linn-Mar High School sophomore Stephanie Jenks was 47th at the Junior World Triathlon Championships women's race Thursday morning.Jenks, a former state cross country champion (she is not out this fall) and a two-time state track champion, was timed in 1 hour, 2 minutes, 17 seconds. Jenks is competing for the Linn-Mar swimming team this fall.American Tamara Gorman won the race in 57:08.
