Jefferson's Sweeney named a top junior baseball prospect

Shortstop Kellen Sweeney of Cedar Rapids Jefferson has been named a first-teamer on Perfect Game USA's Preseason Underclassmen all-American Baseball team.According to a release from Perfect Game, Sweeney is one of 60 prep players across the country to receive the honor. He is the brother of Oakland Athletics outfielder Ryan Sweeney.
