James Hangs on to Win CR City Amateur
CEDAR RAPIDS - Former Cedar Rapids Washington standout Chris James fired a final round 72 to win the CR City Amateur golf tournament Sunday afternoon.
James finished at 6-under par, 208. Steve Koepke took 2nd place, finishing at 3-under, 3 shots back of James. Todd Hingtgen and Justin Pansegrau tied for 3rd at 1-under, Kurt Hockaday was 5th at Even par. Scot Glasford and Matt Sargent tied for 6th at +1.
James entered Sunday's final round with a 5 shot lead, and went wire to wire to win.
